WongAvery Asia Pacific Peace Museum

Message from the Board

Dear Patrons, Friends and Supporters of ALPHA Education,

After five years of hard labour, dedication and relentless efforts of the WongAvery Asia Pacific Peace Museum (APPM) team, with joy and excitement, we love to share with you that the APPM has officially opened on June 8, 2024.

The dream of building a museum in Toronto that is dedicated to education and peace through the context of the history of WWII in Asia is finally materialized. But it can only be possible because of the trust and generosity of many supporters like you, and the collective efforts of a dedicated team that comprises individuals, institutions and professionals who share similar passion for peace and selflessly their expertise.

For humanity, for peace, and for a better world, the mandates of the WongAvery Asia Pacific Peace Museum have a focus on education. The opening of the museum is just the beginning of a long journey. Through innovative education programs offered by the museum, we hope our younger generations will be inspired to be social contributors and peace ambassadors.

Your continuous support is crucial for the ongoing programs and operations of the museum to ensure young people are taught and inspired with positive values from the human atrocities of WWII in Asia.

Thank you in advance for your support and generosity.

Dr. Joseph Wong (Chair & Founder)

Flora Chong (Executive Director)
